Tristan: If you have the time, read this blog post. Viral marketing is live and well on Facebook surprise surprise! A marketing company targeting future students has just admitted they started over 250 "official" Facebook school groups. The purpose? To inform the students of helpful and free materials they offer on there website. The also have admitted to working with another company that used fake accounts to set up some of these groups as well. The idea that companies are abusing Facebook is not surprising what is, is how widespread it is, just for this one company!
